If we follow feng shui principles in all aspects of our lives, our food should have different colors, aroma, and a balance of flavors—all creating a balance of yin and yang. All food carries energy vibrating at various frequencies, the better the quality of food, the better the frequency for our bodies to absorb. Actually, when you come right down to it, we thrive nutritionally on sound. Often we lower our bodily vibration and thus compromise our immune system and general energy level by consuming processed food at home and fast food on-the-run. A good practice once in a while would be to fast and drink only water for 24 hours “to clean the slate”, so to speak. It gives your body a chance to detox and for you to raise your vibrational level by breaking the fast with high energy, high quality whole foods. In this way we apply feng shui in our daily lives by eating “harmonic” dishes full of the chi that will raise our energy level and bring health and balance to our lives.
